Libertarian socialist who is not superstitious. I like to define myself as a Heathen. I like Heathen because, in its simplest form, it means one who does not belong to a religion. An atheist is so strident that it requires believing something. Most Americans are Heathens; their beliefs are a synthesis of religions, superstitions, philosophy, and cultural mores, but they do not belong to any organized religious institution. Nones is such a bland term, so I prefer Haethen to designate my position when asked the question. I wish more did.
